Don't deliver packages to door

Went in to confirm my indentity to receive some mail, brought in the correct paperwork and ID to do so and the miserable lady working there said they couldn't help me. Super disappointed by the service I got today. Was able to contact the place sending me the mail and they just bypassed the post office and were shocked they didn't confirm my indentity with everything I provided for them.

Not open today.Shame on Canada post for not updating the website or even this listing. Terrible post office

I attempted to use this post office this evening and was rudely told that they closed at 6pm. The man named Mohsen argued that I was looking at google hours. Please be kind and update your hours! No need to yell at your customers.

They mailed a $500 package with insurance to the wrong city. Months later and going through hell with the claims department, nothing. They’ve hoped I’ve forgotten. Every time I buy something online and it says Canada Post delivery, I cringe because I know this sleazy company will take forever

I recognize that Canada post locations are a bit unpredictable, which likely makes them hard to properly staff. With that in mind, although there is frequently a wait here, I don’t think it’s the end of the world. They are reasonably efficient, but not as efficient as they could be. More than a handful of times I’ve been greeted by the same person who truthfully shouldn’t be working in customer service. She seems miserable, has 0 interest in answering questions and seems to be very inconvenienced by anyone speaking to her.The others are OK, but don’t seem to receive full or proper training before being left alone. I’ve watched a newer gentleman struggle through very simple transactions with nobody to ask for help. One time, I was told “I don’t know how to do that” after I waited in line and also had a relatively simple transaction. He didn’t offer to find out until I asked him to check with someone else - he placed a phone call and figured it out. He was apologetic, but he wasn’t trained well enough to be on his own.

Severe lack of basic competence and buisiness practices.They refuse to hire enough staff, why?All of a sudden theres too much mail to sort?Absolutley ridiculous.I have lost all faith in canadapost, just like they frequently lose their packadges.I cant fathom why anyone would continue to support them, when they clearly don't care anymore.

Worst customer service ever on the phone and in person would avoid using this company at all costs.Update: I came in recently not particularly by choice, but I got really good service. The guy I ended up with answered all my questions and even went over and above for me so still might be worth a try could just be hit or miss depending who ends up helping you. 1 star to 3 star
